My Story
I have been singing as long as I have been making sounds, having grown up in a house filled with song! At 10 years old, I began my formal vocal training under the incredible Charon Williams-Ros, with whom I completed my contemporary training (specialising in jazz and musical theatre) and beginner, intermediate and advanced exams over the course of my high school years.
Throughout this season, I performed professionally in Durban in various shows at the ICC, Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre, The Playhouse, uShaka Marine World, Durban City Hall, and Wilson’s Wharf, to name a few!

While studying English literature at university, I kept my heartsong alive by singing at open mic nights, working with Spoken Sessions (a collective for poets and performers in Pretoria), and forming a band called Daisy and the Bees.

After all these years, music is still my heartsong.
HeartSong's Story
After many wonderful years in academia and teaching English literature, I returned to my first love: music.

I decided to use my skills as a singer and teacher to open and run a vocal studio which could create a home for those who would like to discover and cultivate their heartsong.

I work as a representative and use the syllabus of Williams-Ros Contemporary Voice—the very syllabus (with the developments that come with time) which I studied and have unwavering faith in.

If you are interested in beginning vocal lessons which meet you where YOU are in your singing journey, and which are dually focused on honing your skills whilst harnessing your unique gifts, then this might be the right musical home for you.
